ELTE Faculty of Social Sciences cordially invites you to attend Bushra Al Hammadi’s (PhD-student at the Doctoral School of Sociology) open lecture titled: Civil Society in Oman. The lecture is followed by a discussion, moderated by dr. habil Mária Arapovics associate professor.

How can civil society improve the lives of local communities in such a distant geography and culture as that of Oman? Learn more about the Omani civil society initiatives, community organizations and development projects first hand from local scholar Bushra Al Hammadi. In her open lecture, she will also investigate the similarities and differences between the goals and missions of Hungarian and Omani civil societies.
