Season's Greetings by Dean Gábor Juhász
Dear Students,

this is the second year, when due to the pandemic, we cannot meet in person during the last seminars and lectures of the semester, thus, we have to miss out on wishing a happy holiday season to each other face-to-face.

Since the breakout of COVID, we have learned to adapt more and more easily to the ever changing circumstances and challenges of our personal and academic lives as well. Despite the adversities, our community—students and professors—achieved many great results. The influential publications developed by our researchers, the international and national awards won by our Faculty members, the Scientific Students' Associations titles received by our students, the academic progress our community achieved, the curriculum development, educational innovation, and research projects conducted by our professors, as well as the growth of our international and Hungarian student community all prove that 2021 has been a successful year for the Faculty of Social Sciences.

For the results listed above, I’d like to express my gratitude to the whole community of the Faculty:  to our professors, who never compromise on creative research and education; to our students, who are open to knowledge and new academic experiences; and to our support staff, whose efforts to ensure the smooth operation of the Faculty are much appreciated.

For the upcoming weeks, I wish happy celebration to all who observe any of the Season’s Holidays and I hope that all of you will have the chance to relax and charge up a little before the next semester.

 Budapest—December 17, 2021

Kind regards,
Dean Gábor Juhász
