Author identifiers
The purpose of author identifiers is to clearly link the author/researcher and the publication. In this way, the author/researcher's publication and its impact can be followed, even if the author continues his work at another institution.
It also links different variations of the same name or the name variants.
Authors' ID registration is regulated by Rector order no.5/2017. (V.2.) at ELTE.
The policy requires the use of 4 author identifiers:
- ORCID
- ResearcherID
- Google scholar ID
- Scopus ID (One can only have a Scopus ID if he or she has at least one publication in the database. This is automatically generated by the system when the publication is added to the database. Therefore, the existence of this on our faculty is not mandatory.)
