Sociology BA

Students of the Sociology BA program at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary receive a diverse and practice-oriented training about the collective behaviour of people, social relationships, processes and institutions, while building strong foundations in quantitative and qualitative social science methodology. Applied Economics BSc

ELTE’s Applied Economics BSc Programme provides general training in the field of economics, with special emphasis on social, political, and international applications. Besides a rigorous training in methodology, students acquire a solid knowledge of the concepts, principles, and theories of economics, and are introduced to other social sciences and business studies as well. The programme enables students to further their studies in several directions at the master’s level, including economics, business, sociology, and international relations, or to apply their broad-based knowledge in the areas of government, business, politics, or media.
